Wisdom has built her house, she has set up her seven columns; she has dressed her meat, mixed her wine, yes, she has spread her table. She has sent out her maidens; she calls from the heights out over the city: “Let whoever is simple turn in here; To the one who lacks understanding, she says, Come, eat of my food, and drink of the wine I have mixed! Forsake foolishness that you may live; advance in the way of understanding.” (Proverbs 9: 1 - 6)
"...The main reason Jesus is not now more known and loved, is because the Virgin Mary is not now more known and loved.
...It was through the Blessed Virgin Mary that Jesus Christ came into the world, and it is also through Her that He must reign in the world. ...When the Virgin Mary has taken root in a soul, She produces in it wonders of grace which only She can produce. ...Together with the Holy Spirit, the Virgin Mary produced the greatest thing that was or ever will be: a God-Man. ...The formation and the education of the great saints who will come at the end of the world are reserved to Her, for only this singular and wondrous Virgin Mary can produce in union with the Holy Spirit, singular and wonderful things. ...The Virgin Mary is the Queen of heaven and earth by grace as Jesus is the King by nature and by conquest. ...We must conclude that being necessary to God by a necessity called hypothetical (that is, because God so willed it), the Blessed Virgin Mary is all the more necessary for men to attain their final end." St. Louis Marie De Montfort Treatise on True Devotion to Mary |
Perfect means to Jesus... Total Consecration binds us to Jesus most perfectly using the most perfect means that Our Father gave us, Mary. Mary takes us to God the Son, Jesus, who through God the Holy Spirit, and by a miracle of grace and love, makes us sons and daughters of God the Father, "no longer slaves but co-heirs of God's Kingdom."
(Gal.4;4-7) |
Perfect means to God the Father... If one has been living his consecration to Mary faithfully, he will eventually come to know he is a child of the Father. That was Jesus' ultimate purpose, to restore us through redemption to the Father; and consequentially it is Mary's as well. Therefore, to give oneself entirely to Mary is to give oneself entirely to Jesus in the Holy Spirit who is Her Spouse, and to give oneself entirely to Jesus is to give oneself entirely to Our Father.

Led by Mary...And this is why Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary is joined to Consecration to Our Father. It all has the same end, and the same means, Mary who takes us there, whether we experience it or acknowledge it or seek it in this way because Mary will always lead us to Jesus Who takes us to God Our Heavenly Father.

Google's Public domain books offers an online free copy of St. Louis de Montfort's True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin. Unfortunately it ends prematurely around pg. 190, which is also where the Consecration prayers are, at the end of the book. So, a physical copy will need to be obtained. Hopefully, at a future date they will be available here.
